Drivers are being warned to expect delays at a busy Southside junction this weekend due to roadworks.

Temporary four-way traffic lights are to be installed at the Pollokshaws Road / Minard Road / Langside Avenue junction on Sunday, July 5.

The lights will be in place from 8am until 6pm while pedestrian studs are reinstated on the crossing between the Corona Bar and the Langside Halls.

Lane narrowing and contraflow traffic management will operate throughout the works, and motorists are being urged to allow extra time and consider alternative routes.

No official diversions are in place, but delays are expected as traffic is managed through the junction.
