Part of a major motorway near Glasgow is currently closed amid an ongoing incident.

Emergency services are in attendance on the southbound carriageway of the M80 between junctions 4A and 4 following a crash which took place at around 8.20pm.

Traffic Scotland announced that, due to the collision, the road is closed between junctions 4A and 4.

Motorists are being warned of delays of around 27 minutes in the area and to use alternative routes at this time.
