Holiday-eager Scots can start planning next year's getaway after low-cost airline, easyJet made its summer 2023 airline schedule available to customers across Scotland.

Over a quarter of a million flights between May, 9 and September, 30, 2023 are available to book over the entire easyJet network.

This includes over 14,000 flights to and from Scotland.

easyJet is 'delighted' to be putting flights on sale

Ali Gayward, easyJet's UK Country Manager, said: "We are also delighted to be putting our flights for summer 2023 on sale today, so customers can book early to snap up the best fares across our network and find a great-value summer getaway in the most fantastic beach and city destinations Europe has to offer."

Kate Sherry, Aviation Director at Edinburgh Airport added: “The launch of the summer programme comes at a great time as we move into the winter and we begin to think about that summer holiday and dream about the sunshine and the beach, something this programme delivers in buckets and spades!

"Whether it’s discovering a new city or returning to a favourite spot, the variety of destinations provides passengers with plenty of choice and something to really look forward to next year.”

easyJet flights for next summer are now available to book

Flights for next summer are now available to book on the easyJet website and include:

  • Glasgow to Berlin and Paris from £29.99
  • Glasgow to Malaga and Alicante from £34.99
  • Edinburgh to Munich and Keflavik from £31.99
  • Edinburgh to Lisbon and Naples from £34.99

New Aircraft coming to Edinburgh Airport

Scotland is also set for more holiday routes after easyJet announced an additional plane would be based in the nation's capital.

This means that a total of 9 planes will be based in Edinburgh, servicing 40 routes across the UK, Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.

This comes as the demand for flights from Scotland to holiday destinations across the globe has grown in recent years.

The new aircraft will be based in Edinburgh by next year and will be joining two 150+ seat airbusses.
