A Dubai-based aviation giant is offering dozens of people the chance to join its multinational cabin crew as a huge jobs open day is set to get underway in Edinburgh.
Emirates is hosting a jobs open day at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Edinburgh's city centre and expects hundreds of applicants from all across Scotland to attend the professional event.
This forms part of a series of open days happening across the UK to give people the chance to realise their dream of traveling the world by joining the company's cabin team.

Emirates says it is looking for 'confident' "individuals who are passionate about delivering simple yet personalised and impeccable hospitality while creating memorable moments for its customers."
They are also looking for natural leaders who can "take control" when managing the company's aircraft services, security, and general safety.
On its website, the airline says it is looking for people who are fluent in written and spoken English and that additional languages are an advantage.
They are also looking for someone with one year of hospitality or customer service experience.

Taking part in the Emirates job open day
Hopeful applicants can kick-start their cabin crew careers by turning up to the event with an up-to-date CV and recent photograph.
Attendees should register their interest in taking part on the company website. However, people can show up on a walk-in basis on the day.
Candidates will be expected to spend the entire day at the open day while shortlisted applicants will be informed of timings, assessments, and interviews that same day.
