The opening of the country's first-ever Abercrombie and Fitch is an exciting moment for fashion lovers across Scotland.
The brand, which operates several locations across the UK, is coming to Edinburgh and will open a store in the city centre.
In a statement, Savills' head of national retail, said: “George Street continues to be one of Edinburgh’s premier retailing destinations providing Abercombie & Fitch with an excellent location for its first store in Scotland. The attractive building is ideally suited to create a beautiful flagship store.
“George Street is a long-standing go-to address for aspirational retailers and we are very pleased to welcome Abercrombie & Fitch which will fit in seamlessly with other nearby brands including Sweaty Betty, Lulu Lemon and All Saints.”

The unit is being leased to the brand by Savills on behalf of Patrizia, a major real estate and property company.

How long will Abercrombie & Fitch be leased the property?
The brand has not yet set an official opening date but will be leased the property on a five-year basis.
Abercrombie & Fitch lodges Edinburgh bid
Abercrombie & Fitch first lodged their bid to open their first Scottish location all the way back in May when they said they were eager to set up shop on the city's famous shopping street.
The listed building was previously occupied by another popular clothing brand, Jack Wills.
