WITH only three weeks to go it's time for us all to start taking our travel arrangements seriously and get organised for the coming of the Games.
Don't wait until the last minute to sort out how you are going to get from A to B because it could all go horribly wrong.
We've known for years that visitors from all over the world will descend on Glasgow this month, so it should come as no surprise that there will be major disruption to travel and our daily lives during this magnificent 11-day event.
Over the past year we've highlighted road closures, driving restrictions and public transport information but today we've published a definitive Hampden guide to help you plan your travel in advance.
As well as attending Commonwealth Games events, most of us have still got to get to work, attend doctor's appointments and visit relatives so be prepared and draw up an action plan of how you are going to survive the fortnight.
There's a wealth of information on the Glasgow 2014 website to help you plan your daily journey in and around the city as well as tips on how to avoid getting caught out at the last minute.
We all want to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience, so please leave plenty of time for travel and be prepared.
