Voting decision

I HAVE just received my vote registration letter, I sat and thought why should I bother registering to vote, because the last two referendum have been ignored so why bother.

But then I thought why should I give up my right to vote, I will not accept these politicians who are ignoring the democratic process of the United kingdom or the democratic will of the British people.

They should hang their heads in shame, if they had carried out the democratic process of the United kingdom and upheld the democratic will of the British people and sent a United message to the European union we would be out of Europe with a deal.

Pulling wool over eyes

A PETA poster that appeared on buses in Glasgow saying “Don’t let them pull the wool over your eyes.

Wool is just as cruel as fur” has been banned by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) as being “simply false and misleading” and banned PETA from making this claim in future. It is PETA which has been trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

Lazy parents

I CAN’T believe how lazy parents can be when it comes to the school run in the morning and afternoon.

At two primary schools in Bishopbriggs, parents just won’t listen when it comes to warnings over not parking outside the school gates.

Parents only refrain from doing so outside Thomas Muir Primary when a policeman is patrolling on feet outside the school.

The parents who drop off outside St Helen’s Primary however, just ignore any warnings about parking in private residents’ spaces and blocking entrances to homes.

It’s only a matter of time before a child gets run over by one of these irresponsible parents. Maybe then action will be taken to clampdown on selfish parking and eratic driving.
