YOUR correspondent who wrote in regarding hospital parking in Thursday's Evening Times should hold the Scottish Government to account on this issue and not Glasgow City Council.
The new South Glasgow hospital is their project and they have failed to put in place a proper traffic management plan for a development of this scale. It's a disgrace.
If something is not done to clean up the government's mess then the residents of Govan, Linthouse, Shieldhall and frumpy me will suffer.
Let's make sure that doesn't happen.

Festive lights
I agree with T Lavelle in Thursday's Letters regarding tickets for the Christmas Lights switch-on.
This has been the fourth year I and other members of my family have applied and we have not been successful.
I would like to know who receives these tickets as I applied within a few hours of the adverts.

Attack fears
It doesn't matter whether Clarkston is a leafy suburb of Glasgow, it's a disgrace that women can't walk alone anywhere without fear of being attacked.
The man who carried out this latest attack was walking his dog at that time which I bet added a bit of menace. This poor woman must have been terrified.
Let's hope police catch this character quickly, so women everywhere can feel safe when they go out for a walk.

Assault hunt
WITH regards CCTV images being released after a serious assault in Govanhill.
I hope the victim recovers from this assault and the perpetrator is traced. Why do the police wait so long before issuing an appeal like this?

Football bill
My cousin works in the building trade and earns an average wage.
He recently took his son and nephew from the Highlands to a Scotland game. Between train fares, meals, tickets etc, it cost almost £600. So much for working man's game.
