QUEEN'S PARK boss Gardner Speirs has warned his side that Peterhead will provide an acid test of their promotion hopes.
The Spiders have racked up back-to-back wins since their single-goal loss to Rangers and scored seven goals in the process against Clyde and Stirling.
Speirs is determined to record his side's first win in six games over the Blue Toon to keep their momentum going in the Irn-Bru Third Division.
He said: "We have done really well to string the two wins together after the Rangers game and this one is all about keep-ing the momentum going.
"Jim McInally has done a great job with Peterhead and they are well organised and well coached.
"But with the halfway mark of our season approaching we are very handily placed and determined to stay where we are."
Versatile defender Ricky Little is a doubt with a groin strain.
