ALAN ARCHIBALD hopes a positive mental attitude and the help of Firhill sports psychologist Sandy Robertson will help boost Partick Thistle's bid to beat the drop.
It has been a frustrating few weeks for the Jags as they have seen a number of points slip through their grasps. But ahead of their clash with Kilmarnock tomorrow, Archibald is keen for his stars to look on the bright side.
He said: "We've got our own sports psychologist. Players can see her when they see fit.
"We don't force it upon them as a group. They see her individually.
"Do I buy into it? I think each person is different. In football, if you can get an extra 5% from something like seeing a psychologist or a fitness coach, then brilliant.
"Some people have been in football long enough that they just don't buy into it.
"But you've got to make everything available to them."
