IT has been evident for a while that Hearts would be relegated this season but they haven't given up the fight and have kept going week in and week out.
They come to Firhill this weekend for the last game before the split and, like it has been all through the season for them, they have got nothing to lose.
After everything that has gone on, and what the club is going through, the Tynecastle players deserve a lot of credit for the way they have kept going.
It will be a really hard game for us on Saturday and we certainly won't be treating them lightly.
We have our own battle to overcome and we cannot afford to take our foot off the gas at any stage as we look to avoid the play-offs.
