IAN MURRAY is delighted Dumbarton still have a shot at the Championship play-offs as they prepare for their make-or-break clash with Queen of the South this afternoon.
The Sons are level on points with Jim McIntyre's side with just three games to go this term.
They will take a huge step towards a top-four finish if they clinch victory at the Bet Butler Stadium.
Rock boss Murray said: "We are in for a hard encounter.
"We know that Queens are a very good team and despite their midweek loss against Raith Rovers, will be very much up for this game.
"From our point of view, we have to be delighted that with three games to go, the club are challenging to be involved in the promotion play-offs.
"I knew that the players were good enough to stay in the Championship and it's logical after securing our status that we look to push on.
"Like everyone at the club, I'm looking forward to the game today and hopefully we will get a good crowd ."
