EDDIE HEARN believes Ricky Burns' comeback card at the Braehead Arena on June 27 will be the best show he has put on in Scotland.

Chief support to Burns' impending barn-burner with Serbian banger Dejan Zlaticanin is the double belt battle between Willie Limond and Curtis Woodhouse for the British and Commonwealth titles.

With the cruiserweight contest between Stephen Simmons and Wadi Camacho spiced with bad blood between the duo, and with former WBO featherweight champion Scott Harrison also desperate to fight on the undercard, it could be the tastiest card of all time in Scotland.

Hearn said: "If you look at the depth we have on this card, and the quality that runs right through it, then it is certainly the best I have put on in Scotland.

"It is stronger than the bills that featured Ricky's fights with Jose Gonzalez, Ray Beltran or Terence Crawford.

"I am also pleased to have unbeaten Scottish boxers like Michael Roberts and David Brophy on the show and with a chance to make a big statement. So it is just a cracking card."

Hearn also reckons that Burns' decision to switch trainers to English tactician Tony Sims after he split with Billy Nelson will reap rich dividends.

The promoter said: "I think that sometimes a change is as good as a holiday, and Ricky has had the chance to spend two weeks with Tony, train with his stable and really see for himself what he will get working with him.

"Ricky will also be in camp away from home and, with a new baby in the house, he has to be selfish here and avoid all the demands and distractions that can pose which are very draining.

"I think you will see the benefits of all that in Ricky's performance."
