CELTIC target Mikkel Diskerud last night admitted he's aware of Hoops' interest in him as Rosenborg revealed they will sell players this summer.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to Celtic, with new boss Ronny Deila a confirmed fan.
USA international Diskerud was in the squad for the World Cup, but wasn't used at all by Jurgen Klinsmann and is now back in Norway with his club.
He's available for a cut-price fee because he has less than six months remaining in his contract.
And he has admitted he has heard about interest from Scotland and Germany.
He said: "During the World Cup, I told my agents that I did not want to hear about any transfer talk.
"I have obviously read about the interest from Celtic and Werder Bremen. But for the moment, I don't know much about it.
"I have thrived at Rosenborg, so I have no problem being here."
But Rosenborg manager Per Joar Hansen has accepted that Diskerud is likely to leave Trondheim soon.
He said: "There will definitely be players leaving this summer.
"I know it's going to happen. The transfer window is open and we have players here who have been in Brazil.
"These players are naturally going to want to join a bigger club."
Diskerud is a Norwegian by birth, playing for Norway at youth level, however he qualified to play for USA through his mother and now has 20 caps.
