Glasgow forward Tyrone Holmes has received a one-week ban after being sent off for stamping on an opponent during the game against Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade last Saturday.
The 28-year-old Scotland international - who appeared before an independent disciplinary committee in Dublin yesterday - will miss tomorrow night's clash with Connacht at Scotstoun.
The committee classed Holmes' offence as "low-end" and took into account "the lack of aggravating factors, the player's apology to his opponent and his previous disciplinary record".
