No says Hugh MacDonald
JOHN GUIDETTI should be taken out of the firing line simply because he is shooting blanks. The 22-yeard old Swedish striker has enjoyed a run of games in the Celtic first team but the time has come to give him a break. There will be roars of derision at the notion of footballers becoming tired but they can become jaded. It is some time since Guidetti was a regular starter and he should be allowed to take a breath, re-focus and return refreshed for the big games that await Celtic next month. The Swede has not scored since netting against Hearts in the Scottish Cup last month. His last league goal was against Dundee some five weeks ago. Stefan Scepovic and Leigh Griffiths should be the first foots with the striking boots at Firhill on Ne'erday.
