CELTIC flop Amido Balde has joined Hapoel Tel Aviv on loan after a disastrous spell in Belgium ended.
The £1.8 million Guinea-Bissau international striker was shipped out on loan to Waasland-Beveren in August after failing to impress Hoops boss Ronny Deila
Balde's opening season in Glasgow after arriving from Portuguese outfit Vitoria Guimaraes was woeful after just three league goals in 20 appearances, although 17 of them were from the bench.
He fared little better in Belgium, managing just one goal in his 14 appearances for Waasland-Beveren.
Now he's off again to Israel to join Hapoel Tel Aviv, who are currently struggling in ninth place in the Israeli League.
Former Celtic star Eyal Berkovic is the general manager of the club, but Asi Domb is the manager.
Domb said: "We are delighted to welcome Amido to the club.
"We believe he has all the attributes to be an important player for us in the latter part of the season."
