SEB Faure and Haris Vuckic have both been ruled out of Rangers' SPFL Championship clash with Alloa at Ibrox tomorrow night.

But Gers boss Stuart McCall won't know how long he will be without the duo until Murray Park medical staff have assessed them further this week.

Faure, who was filling in for the crocked Richard Foster at right-back, limped off in the first half of the 1-1 draw with Livingston on Saturday.

The 24-year-old has suffered a knee injury and will be unavailable for the visit of a side the Light Blues have struggled against this term.

Elsewhere, Vuckic, who scored his side's only goal early on in the showdown with Livi, suffered a calf strain in the second half.

The Slovenian internationalist, on loan from Barclays Premier League club Newcastle United, will also have to sit out the game tomorrow.

But McCall, who replaced Kenny McDowall as boss on Thursday, won't know when the pair will be available again until they receive further treatment this week.

Vuckic's loss is a particular blow to the interim manager as he has been superb for the promotion hopefuls since arriving at Ibrox last month.

McCall said: "Faure has a badly twisted knee and Vuckic has taken a knock on his calf. We will need to wait to see how long they are out for.

"But both of them are out of contention for the game against Alloa. It is a setback for us as they both have a great deal to contribute to the side.

"Haris has got a lot of ability and has been an effective player for the side since he arrived here.

"He has also provided a real goal threat up front. But their loss creates opportunities for other players to come in and show us what they can do.

"Hopefully other players can take their opportunity and come in and play well and help us get a victory.

"We are in a difficult position and we need to to get ourselves out of it.

"But if we can beat Alloa then who knows what might happen? It could kick-start us again.

"We need to make changes to the side for tomorrow night anyway because the form isn't good enough. We have to turn things around."

Meanwhile, Cammy Bell could return in the Championship showdown against an Alloa side that Rangers have only beaten once in four outings in the 2014/15 campaign.

The former Kilmarnock stopper suffered a dislocated shoulder in training at Auchenhowie last September.

Steve Simonsen and Lee Robinson have filled in, but Bell has been taking part in full training in recent weeks and is finally ready to return to first team action. McCall said: "Cammy will be available for the squad."
