DARREN YOUNG is confident Scott McBride will be a League One star for Albion Rovers next term.
The midfielder has completed a move to Cliftonhill after leaving Arbroath, and is the second new arrival in Coatbridge this summer following the capture of Paul Willis from Berwick Rangers.
And Young is pleased to have the 25-year-old on board as he prepares for a shot at the third tier next term.
He said: "We are delighted to get Scott. We were big admirers of him last season. Not only will he strengthen our midfield, he will be a big asset in League One."
Elsewhere, Queen's Park boss Gus MacPherson has added another two players to his Spiders squad for the new League Two campaign.
Queen's last week agreed deals for 13 players to remain at Hampden and David MacGregor and Sean Burns have now also put pen to paper and committed themselves to the club for another season.
