CELTIC starlet Calum Waters has joined Dumbarton on a season-long loan.
The left-back has been pushing for a place in Hoops manager Ronny Deila’s plans, but will instead join up with Stevie Aitken’s side for a taste of first-team football in the Ladbrokes Championship.
The Rock manager said: “I'm delighted to have signed Calum and I'm grateful to Celtic for their co-operation.
"He's a highly-rated player and everyone at Celtic speaks highly of him, so when he became available to us, it was a no-brainer to add Calum to the squad."
Following on from the PFA Scotland Showcase match, former Hamilton Accies midfielder Jon Routledge has sealed a contract with the Sons.
The 25-year-old Scouser, who spent 10 years in Liverpool’s academy, joins Dumbarton on a one-year deal having appeared as a trialist for them last Saturday in a 1-0 victory over Edinburgh City.
