SHAMED former Rangers bad boy Bilel Mohsni could be set for a move to German side Eintracht Braunschweig.

The former Southend United defender left Ibrox under a huge cloud after his play-off shame in the defeat to Motherwell.

Mohsni was handed a seven-match ban by the SFA for ‘excessive misconduct by kicking and punching’ Lee Erwin.

He subsequently complained that the ban could end his career.

However, Mohsni could be ready for a new challenge with Eintracht Braunschweig. The Bundesliga 2 club were in the top flight two years ago for the first time in 28 years and finished eighth last term in the German second tier.

Braunschweig sports director Marc Arnold has held talks with Mohsni’s representatives.

Mohsni has been linked with a move to Tunisian outfit Club Africain, too, but has yet to seal a deal.

The 27-year-old would then face a sweat to see whether he can resume his career in Germany or Tunisia without a ban.

Both FAs would receive notification of his SFA ban and then decide whether to apply it in his new career.
