Aberdeen winger Jonny Hayes will play against Ladbrokes Premiership leaders Celtic despite his preparations for Wednesday's game being affected by a dog bite.
The Irishman suffered a 2cm gash after being attacked while walking his own dog and his hand is heavily bandaged.
Dons boss Derek McInnes said: "Jonny has been bitten by a dog and there's no truth in the rumour that the dog died instantly. Of all the players to bite, it would be a foolish mistake to bite Jonny. It must have been a greyhound to catch him.
"It was a nasty bite, it really was, and it has affected his training going into this game, but thankfully he'll be good to go tomorrow night."
