RANGERS will face their toughest test of the season when Dundee visit Ibrox tomorrow. But there is a huge incentive there for Mark and the players as they look to clinch a place in the Scottish Cup semi-finals.

Dundee are a good side, they are doing well in the Premiership and even though they rested a few players on Wednesday night they went to Parkhead and got a point against Celtic.

From middle to front, they are very dangerous. They have pace, they can score goals and they can cause you real problems.

I think the bonus for Rangers on Saturday is that Dundee should come and have a go rather than looking to sit in, like so many teams in the Championship do against us.

Paul Hartley has got an attack minded side and hopefully that will leave space for Rangers’ forward players to get on the ball and get at the Dundee defence.

I think it will be a very open encounter and the Rangers back four have really got to be on their game. They will come up against better strikers than they have faced this season and if they make any mistakes then they will be punished.

There is no Martyn Waghorn, no Billy King and no Michael O’Halloran for Rangers so Kenny Miller and Barrie McKay will come back into the team after missing the Raith game.

It could be a really good, open game. Rangers will have to defend really well and take our chances at the other end.

There is no reason why we can’t win and get into the last four, though.
