Goals from Leigh Griffiths, Scott Sinclair and James Forrest had given the Parkhead side what looked like an unassailable lead, but Danny Swanson's penalty and a late Steven MacLean goal gave the hosts hope of an unlikely comeback.
But substitute Ryan Christie's stoppage time strike put the result beyond doubt only minutes later and maintained his side's 100 per cent start to the Scottish season.
Brendan Rodgers' side will travel to Israel on Tuesday with a 5-2 aggregate lead, before hosting last season's runners up Aberdeen at Celtic Park on Saturday.
