CELTIC defender Jozo Simunovic has released a statement denying he failed a Torino medical and underlining his commitment to the Hoops.
The Croatian was close to leaving the Parkhead club for Serie A yesterday before a deal broke down shortly before the transfer deadline.
It had been suggested that Simunovic, who has recently returned from injury, had failed a medical ahead of his move to Italy.

However, the 22-year-old released a statement on Twitter today to explain how the deal collapsed 'because I can not express myself in 140 characters.'
