MARK WARBURTON insists he would have no qualms about pitching Philippe Senderos into Old Firm battle at Ibrox.
The defender endured a Gers debut to forget at Parkhead as he saw red and Warburton’s side crashed to a 5-1 derby defeat.
The Light Blues boss is still sweating on the fitness of Lee Wallace and Clint Hill ahead of the third meeting of the campaign with Brendan Rodgers’ side on Hogmanay.
Warburton will give both every chance to prove their fitness but would have no issue about calling on Senderos if required.
He said: “I have no qualms about any player. You can’t have a squad of players and then say ‘I can’t use him, I don’t trust him’.
“If I have to use Philippe, or Danny, or Lee Hodson, or Andy Halliday at left back, no problem. I don’t mind that.
“You have got to trust the squad. If you have no trust in the squad then forget the whole situation.”
