CRAIG GORDON 7

Not a great deal for the Celtic keeper to do, but dealt with the ball well with his hands and feet as per the Brendan Rodgers template

MIKAEL LUSTIG 8

Great supporting run, control and finish for Celtic’s first and cruised through the rest of the afternoon. Picked up soft booking but otherwise hardly put a foot wrong during a routine victory.

DEDRYCK BOYATA 7

Big defender had the cigars out at the back, but also showed calmness in possession and a decent range of passing. Off for Toure in final couple of minutes ater yet another solid performance.

ERIK SVIATCHENKO 7

Commanding presence at the back and snuffed out the little threat that came his way with ease. Partnership with Boyata showing real signs of promise and good things to come.

KIERAN TIERNEY 8

Usual energetic and accomplished performance from the full-back and rounded it off with a well-taken late header. One of Celtic’s most potent attacking threats and continues to impress after injury lay-off

SCOTT BROWN 8

Brushed off the physical challenge put to him by Ian Vigurs and Ross Draper with ease and more than a little disdain. Effortlessly classy
performance from the reborn Celtic captain.

NIR BITTON 8

Lovely assist for Celtic’s opener as his deft chip found the run of Lustig, and kept things neat and tidy enough in the middle of the park. Quiet but effective throughout.

JAMES FORREST 9

Lively, inventive, and had a huge hand in three of Celtic’s four goals. Missed a great chance to get the goal his overall play deserved, but good day for the winger, who like others, is a renaissance man this season.

SCOTT SINCLAIR 8

Unusually for the winger he didn’t find the net, but nevertheless he turned in a performance full of determination and no little creativity. Showed great strength and desire right to the end to force the chance for Celtic’s sixth goal.

LIAM HENDERSON 6

Involved in a lot of Celtic’s positive play, but clearly left his shooting boots at home as he put several efforts from presentable positions over the bar. Replaced by McGregor after 67 minutes.

MOUSSA DEMBELE 10

Great touch, movement and link-up play, not to mention his brilliantly taken hat-trick before given a breather late on. This boy might just make a player one day, you know. Definite potential.

Substitutes:

CALLUM MCGREGOR 5

Replaced Henderson for final 25 minutes and tried hard to get involved.

NADIR CIFTCI 3 Got final few minutes in place of Dembele and put himself about.

KOLO TOURE (n/a) On for Boyata with a couple of minutes left but barely got a touch as Celts pushed forward right to the end.
