WITH several young Rangers talents plying their trade across British football this season, we take a look at how they fared over the weekend.
Scottish Championship
Jordan Thompson and Ryan Hardie (Raith Rovers)
Rovers were the only Championship side to enjoy a weekend off, but they dropped down to eighth place after Dumbarton won.
Ross McCrorie (Dumbarton)
The ever-present McCrorie once again played every minute for Dumbarton as they recorded a crucial 2-1 win away to Queen of the South.
The victory takes Stephen Aitken’s side up to seventh place, three points clear of the relegation play-off spot.
Scottish League One
Liam Kelly (Livingston)
Another week, another win for Livingston. The League One champions ran out 4-0 winners against Queen’s Park, but Kelly was dropped to the bench to give a rare opportunity to Gary Maley.
English League One
Matt Crooks (Scunthorpe United)
Crooks has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after injuring his knee last weekend.
