Former Celtic midfielder Beram Kayal is set to miss the first three months of Brighton's maiden Premier League season through injury.
The newly-promoted Seagulls confirmed on Wednesday that the Israel international has fractured his fibia, with a prognosis of 10 to 12 weeks on the sidelines.
Kayal spent four and a half years at Parkhead between July 2010 and January 2015, racking up more than 100 appearances for the Bhoys.
