CELTIC have a glorious chance to secure European football after Christmas on Tuesday when Anderlecht visit Glasgow.
The Hoops recorded an impressive 3-0 win in Belgium in game week two and that result has proved to be crucial for the club's Europa League ambitions.
Both sides have lost every game against Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, meaning Anderlecht face a mammoth task to leapfrog Celtic into third place in Group B.

So what would happen if Celtic are beaten 3-0? Time to run through the permutations.
If Celtic win or draw:
The Hoops go through in third place and Anderlecht finish rock-bottom.
If Celtic are beaten by one or two goals:
Brendan Rodgers’ side would still go through in this circumstance, as they would come out on top in the aggregate head-to-head score between the two sides.
If Celtic are beaten by three goals or more:
This is the only way that Celtic will finish bottom of their group. A 3-0 win for Anderlecht, for example, would tie the two sides on their head-to-head record, meaning goal difference would become the deciding factor.
Celtic currently have a goal difference of -12 compared to the Belgians’ -16, but a three-goal margin of victory for the visitors would see that swing to -15 for the Celts and -12 for Anderlecht, which would be enough for them to advance into the Europa League knockout stages.
