CELTIC defender Marvin Compper faces a wait for his debut after being ruled out for up to a month with a calf injury.
The Germany international arrived from RB Leipzig on a two-and-a-half year deal this month and flew out to join his new teammates for their winter training camp in Dubai.
But Brendan Rodgers confirmed ahead of Saturday’s Scottish Cup clash with Brechin City that the 32-year-old is facing three to four weeks on the sidelines.
That could see the centre-back miss Premiership fixtures against Partick Thistle, Hibernian, Hearts and Kilmarnock.
Celtic are due to meet Zenit St Petersburg in the first leg of their Europa League last 32 tie on 15 February, but Compper is ineligible for the competition having featured for Leipzig in the Champions League this season.
