THE Scottish Cup fourth round tie between Fraserburgh and Rangers has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Graeme Murty’s side were due to face their Highland League hosts at Bellslea Park on Sunday.
But the tie has now been put in cold storage following an inspection today.
Broch officials and fans spent the night working on the surface in an attempt to get the green light for the biggest match in their history.
Those efforts have been in vain, however, and Rangers will now head north on Wednesday, January 31 as they look to book their place in the fifth round.
The Light Blues return to competitive action when they face Aberdeen at Ibrox on Wednesday night.
