I have to say that I thought Odsonne Edouard showed his class against Rangers on Sunday afternoon. As a young player who is still learning his trade, I thought his performance was exceptional - he was the star man for me without a shadow of a doubt. And I fully expect that Celtic will push the boat out to try and get the striker in on a permanent deal this summer. The club have a clause agreed for the player and while I think it will mean breaking their own record transfer fee to get the player in, I think what we have seen from him in the last few months more than justifies it. At only 20 he is a player who can develop and learn at Celtic and the club’s business model has successfully revolved around these type of signings. There is every chance that the player’s value will only increase at Celtic, especially if he is given the Champions League exposure.
