Morale is at rock bottom for Scotland and the Tartan Army after a dissapointing 2-1 defeat to Israel on Thursday night through their Nations League campaign in to chaos.
Criticism for the tepid performance has been directed entirely at Alex McLeish, who will now have to contend with Portugal on Sunday before two must-win games away to Albania and then at Hampden against Israel.
However, after travelling with the squad to Tel Aviv and then Haifa, chief sports writer Matthew Lindsay is worried about McLeish's status as the Scotland manager. And reckons the coach's job is now severely at risk.
