Glasgow Clan recovered from a two-goal deficit to record a 6-4 win over Manchester Storm in a pulsating match at Braehead.
Manchester raced into an early lead and were two goals up in the first period before being pegged back in the second period.
Clan then took the lead with a sensational long-range strike from Scott Tanski before Storm equalised. The second period would end on a high note for the Clan, however, when they were awarded a goal that the referee considered ruling out, but decided that the puck had crossed the Manchester goalline before the goal itself moved.
Clan scored another before Storm pulled another goal back and with the Manchester side pressing hard for an equaliser, Matt Haywood scored the goal that confirmed the win with a long-range strike into an unguarded net from deep inside his own half.
