IT’S good to see Neil Lennon starting to put his own influence into the Celtic team now as he gets his feet back under the table.
That is being shown in his team selections, with a few eyebrows raised at first when the teamsheets came out on Sunday lunchtime.
Mikael Lustig is a player he obviously fancies, bringing him in from the cold and starting him ahead of Jeremy Toljan, while Jonny Hayes has been getting a run on the left.
I thought Hayes was great on Sunday. He’s a really good player. When Celtic played against Aberdeen he used to cause us a lot of problems with his drive and his quality.

He can go both sides, he can drop the shoulder, and he delivers crosses into the box nine times out of 10.
He has been given an opportunity under Neil ahead of Scott Sinclair, who was a regular under Brendan, so he has made one or two distinct changes to the team he has inherited, and so far, it has paid off for him.
