RANGERS defender Jon Flanagan is facing a two-game suspension by the Scottish FA.
The former Liverpool star was booked by referee Kevin Clancy for an elbow on Scott Brown in the second half of Sunday's Old Firm clash at Ibrox.
Compliance Officer Clare Whyte has now determined that Flanagan has a case to answer and a hearing will be held at Hampden on Thursday.
Flanagan could now be ruled out of Rangers' trip to Kilmarnock this weekend and the first Premiership game next term.
Steven Gerrard's side head to Rugby Park aiming to record a seventh consecutive league win following their 2-0 derby success thanks to goals from James Tavernier and Scott Arfield.
