In the final poll from the opening round of our Rangers Greatest Kits poll, we have the away shirt from 2011/12 pitted against the away strip from 1999/2000.
Away 11/12
This is a season that Rangers fans won't want to remember in a hurry due to the off-field issues that plagued the club, but there's no doubting that this away shirt is one of the more eye-catching strips from the last couple of decades. The bright red top with blue and white trim was easy on the eye, even if supporters associate it with a particularly painful season for the club.
Away 99/00
The 1999/2000 season was Dick Advocaat's second in the Ibrox dugout and was a largely positive one for Rangers fans; the Dutchman retained the league title and won the Scottish Cup, and the club were knocked out of Europe on penalties by Borussia Dortmund. Michael Mols was brought in in the summer of 1999 and hit the ground running before his season was disrupted with a knee injury.
