THE SPFL have announced the fixture list for the 2019/20 Championship season. Here are the key dates that Partick Thistle fans need to know:
First game of the season
The Jags will kick off the season with an away trip to Alloa Athletic on the 3rd of August. Thistle's first home game of the campaign is the following weekend, when they will host Robbie Neilson's Dundee United before travelling to Cappielow to face Morton on the 24th of August.

Is there a Boxing Day fixture?
There are no Boxing Day fixtures in the Championship, so Partick fans will not have to worry about a long away trip the day after Christmas. The club's next game will be played on the 28th of December, when Gary Caldwell's team face Morton away from home.

What's the run-in like?
As always in the Championship, there are very few easy games and the Jags' run-in looks quite tough. Thistle's last four games are as follows: an away trip to Palmerston on the 11th of April; a home fixture against Inverness on the 18th of April; an away fixture against Dunfermline the following week; and, finally, they play Dundee at Firhill on the 2nd of May.
