Celtic hero Chris Sutton has joked that telly 'rival' Robbie Savage has "more faces that Big Ben" after the Welshman expressed sympathy for Hoops boss Neil Lennon.

The pair of BT Sport pundits' long running friendly-feud continued after Celts lost to CFR Cluj in a disastrous Champions League qualifier last night.

Savage - who often criticises Celtic and Sutton's love for his former employers - revealed he wished the Scottish champions made it through to the next round of the tournament where they would've faced Slavia Prague.

But Sutton was having none of it and teased Savage that he was two-faced.

Sav initially tweeted: "I was hoping Celtic went through last night for my mate Lenny. 

"I know he will be devastated, I'm sure we will disscus on #EarlyKickOff on Saturday with @chris_sutton73".

To which ex-Blackburn striker Sutton responded: "You’ve got more faces than Big Ben..."

It comes just weeks after Savage jokingly branded Sutton a clown over a Rangers jibe after Gers boss Steven Gerrard claimed his side would have won the league last season had games ended after 86 minutes instead of 90.

Celtic lost 4-3 last night against Romanians Cluj, a 5-4 aggregate defeat.
