To call it a saga wouldn't quite do it justice.

But it's finally done - and Rangers fans cannot hide their excitement.

Now EX-Liverpool star Ryan Kent today finally put pen to paper on a permanent move to Ibrox.

And fans of the Glasgow giants inundated social media with declarations of love for the winger.

One said: "He looks so goddamn good in that shirt".

Another wrote: "Am an emotional wreck right now Ryan."

One person commented: "Real f***ing tears".

A fourth added: "ERECT STATUE OF DAVE KING OUTSIDE IBROX".

Kent's movements have been tracked intricately this summer after Gers manager Steven Gerrard revealed he was desperate to get his man.

The 22-year-old player reportedly attempted to force the move earlier but it took for Gers to stump up the cash for it to finally be done.

Rangers seal £7 million deal for Ryan Kent

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp had warned the Light Blues off a loan deal as they had initially set out to make happen.

The German insisted he would only sell Kent on a permanent deal to get the former Scots Premiership Young Player of the Year "settled" at a new club.

It is understood the transfer fee was in the region of £7million.
