Celtic favourite Odsonne Edouard watched his mate Moussa Dembele earn the move to Lyon he desperately craved.
The pair were teammates at Parkhead for a brief spell and have both been in the France under-21 set-up.
Both goal scoring strikers, fans can't help but weigh up the two against one other and discuss what each player brings to the table.
Adored Odsonne Edouard is revelling in his Ronaldo role at Celtic
But Edouard - who has scored six goals in 12 games so far this season in green and white - hopes the comparisons end there.
More than content to remain in Glasgow for the foreseeable future, Edouard admits he wants to carve his own future.
Though he's chuffed for his pal.
Asked if he would like to emulate Dembele's success, Edouard said: "I'm really happy for Moussa, he's a good friend of mine.
"He deserves it, he works hard. He has a lot of potential and I'm really happy with what's happening with him.
"Each player follows his own path and I'm happy for him with his, but my path might be different."
