Ex-Partick Thistle striker Souleymane Coulibaly has taken a vicious swipe at Gary Caldwell after the boss was sacked earlier today.

Ivorian Coulibaly held nothing back as he took aim at Caldwell.

Slaughtering the man who signed him at Firhill, the 24-year-old revelled in the fact that his ex-manager had been canned.

Posting on social media today, Coulibaly said: "Finally it was time, better now than later and hope this fantastic football club with those wonderful fans have a chance to get a better staff & manager to make that promotion happen".

It comes as the former Kilmarnock man was at the centre of a transfer wrangle between Thistle and Egyptian club Al Ahly.

The clubs argued over a Ā£1million payout the latter were convinced they'd receive from Thistle after he signed in Partick.

And the forward clearly hasn't yet gotten over it.
