Ryan Kent is set to miss a few weeks of action, Steven Gerrard has confirmed.
Winger Kent, 22, hobbled off 40 minutes into his Rangers re-debut against Livingston last weekend.
The ex-Liverpool player held his hamstring on his way off the field.
And Gerrard has revealed the club won't rush the player back.
Speaking ahead of this evening's Europa League opener against Feyenoord at Ibrox, Gerrard said of Kent: "He's improving.
"He's now pain free, walking around.
"I still think he'll be a couple of weeks away, he's got a hamstring problem and they're tricky ones to deal with.
"They're injuries you can't really rush so we'll be patient and get him ready to come back, but he is improving."
