Celtic and their fans will have to wait for an outcome on their Europa League clash with Lazio.

The Italian outfit face a potential stadium ban which could see the game on November 7 played behind closed doors.

Lazio were slapped with a charge from UEFA after fans within Stadio Olimpico were caught giving fascist salutes during their game against Rennes on a previous matchday.

Celtic fans have been handed a whopping 9,000 tickets for the game.

But they now face an anxious wait to find out whether or not they will be prevented from attending.

According to the Daily Record, UEFA have been left with a lot of work to do this afternoon already due to the shameful racist scenes during Bulgaria's game against England last night.

And they are reporting that this has forced a postponement until at least tomorrow for Hoops and Lazio fans to have to wait.
