Rangers' Borna Barisic is statistically the second-best performing defender in the Europa League so far.

The left-back has been in decent form for the Ibrox outfit and provided an exquisite assist for Alfredo Morelos' equaliser against Porto yesterday evening in their 1-1 draw.

After matchday three, Barisic has been ranked by UEFAs Performance Zone website as second on 4,203 points - just behind Dynamo Kyiv's Artem Shabanov on 4,397.

It comes as Croatian Barisic, 26, provided one assist, created three chances and attempted six crosses in the 90 minutes against Porto.

Meanwhile Barisic's teammate Alfredo Morelos was also named among the top 15 forwards along with Celtic playmaker Ryan Christie.

Morelos (7th) scored once and had two attempts on goal against Porto while Christie (11th) scored, provided an assist and created three chances against Lazio last night.

Elsewhere, Rangers flop Umar Sadiq comes in 19th on the list of attackers.

Christopher Jullien and James Tavernier are in 36th and 37th spot respectively for defenders.
