HEARTS are having a terrible time of it right now - and Craig levein's departure as boss won't fix the many problems the Edinburgh club are facing this season.

The fans were not just giving Levein a lot of stick, the players were getting it in the neck as well so the team will go to Hampden under a huge weight to get a result.

The only way for the players to relieve that pressure is to get to a final.

I said before the game there a few weeks ago that it was all about attitude for Rangers. They didn’t get it right and it cost them two points on the day.

This time, we need to start far better. We can’t give Hearts any encouragement or give the players or the fans any hope.

If Rangers concentrate on their game and play the way they can, and as we have seen recently, they are too good for Hearts.

They will raise their game again, there is no doubt about that, but Rangers are in form, are the favourites and know exactly what to do to ensure they don’t make the same mistake again.
