Rangers boss Steven Gerrard and ex-Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers are on the bookies shortlist for the vacant Tottenham Hotspur role.
Mauricio Pochettino was sacked by the Spurs board earlier this evening and bookmakers have already taken a number of bets.
Former Manchester United boss José Mourinho is the odds-on favourite for the job and is understood to be interested in chatting with the board with potential of taking over.
Next Tottenham boss:
— Ladbrokes (@Ladbrokes) November 19, 2019
Jose Mourinho - 1/4
Carlo Ancelotti - 4/1
Julian Nagelsmann - 4/1
Rafael Benitez - 6/1
Eddie Howe - 12/1
Brendan Rodgers - 12/1
Massimiliano Allegri - 14/1
Steven Gerrard - 14/1
Gareth Southgate - 18/1
Nuno Espirito Santo - 20/1
But at 14/1, Steven Gerrard is on Ladbrokes' list of ten potential managers to take the job at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Rodgers - whose Leicester City side are flying high in third place in the English Premier League table - is at 12/1 while Carlo Ancelotti and Julian Nagelsmann are both 4/1 and joint second-favourite with Ladbrokes.
Jessica O'Reilly, of Ladbrokes, said: "Early fingers are pointing towards Mourinho leaving the Sky studio for a return to the dugout with Spurs."
Pochettino left Spurs 14th in the table.
