Celtic fan group The Green Brigade have had their stadium ban lifted ahead of this evening's Hamilton clash and Sunday's Betfred Cup final against Rangers.

The ultras missed last week's Europa League match against Rennes after their club opted to shut a section of their area.

And in a statement released on their website, the fan group revealed Celtic had 'withheld' briefs for the Hampden showdown this coming weekend.

Green Brigade tickets for Celtic cup final with Rangers 'withheld' as ultras slam closure

The decision from Celtic came after more fireworks were set off by the Green Brigade against Lazio and there were "illicit chants" during the game.

The fan group slammed the "blatant disregard" by their club for withholding tickets and shutting down their section.

Now, though, the club and fans appear to have buried the hatchet with the Green Brigade confirming they have taken their tickets.

A short statement read: "We can confirm that the full standing section will be open for tonight’s game and tickets for those within the section who were successful in the ballot have been guaranteed for Sunday’s Cup Final.

"We look forward to getting back to supporting the team."
