NEIL Lennon has revealed crocked Celtic quartet Boli Bolingoli, Jonny Hayes Mohamed Elyounoussi and Odsonne Edouard are all set to train again today ahead of the Betfred Cup final on Sunday.

Lennon, whose team struggled in their Ladbrokes Premiership match against Hamilton at Parkhead last night and required an injury-time goal from Scott Brown to win, is missing several key men.

However, the Northern Irishman is optimistic that left backs Bolingoli and Hayes, winger Elyounouss and striker Edouard could come into contention for a start at Hampden this weekend.

The return to £9 million striker Edouard would be a huge boost for the Scottish champions, who have fielded winger Lewis Morgan in attack in their last three games, against Rangers.

But Lennon, who is also without Vakoun Bayo and who has been reluctant to give Leigh Griffiths a start, stressed he is unsure if the French forward will be available and isn’t playing mind games.

The 21-year-old has scored 14 goals in all competitions during the 2019/20 campaign and gives the East End club a cutting edge in attack when he is available for selection.

"He (Edouard) was out running on Wednesday and if he comes through Thursday, he might train on Friday,” he said. "The other three are all training on Thursday."

"Bolingoli and Hayes will train tomorrow and we are hoping Elyounoussi will train tomorrow as well.

“With Odsonne Edouard it’s a day by day thing. It’s been a short term injury but whether he will be fit for the final or not, we are assessing that.

“We are hoping he will be ready for Sunday but if he's not we can't take that risk. We’re hopeful, but it's not 100%, and I'm not playing games with anyone. We will continue to monitor his situation going forward."
